These core values reflect ACSA’s commitment to the highest ethical standards and drive ACSA’s priorities, commitments and recommendations. ACSA status is the vital strength, and these core values will guide ACSA’s behaviours, attitudes of both internal and external stakeholders and how ACSA accomplishes its mission. The following are ACSA’s core values:

    • Diversity & Independence of Member States
  2. Integrity
    • Strive to be an honest , trustworthy and a transparent association
    • Disassociating from all forms of corruption and unethical conduct
  3. Commitment
    • For continuous improvement of corrections/prisons services through sharing of experiences and development amongst member states.
    • For delivering on assigned responsibilities
    • Taking responsibility for subscription fees
  4. Inclusiveness - Provide platform for members and stakeholders to feel represented.
  5. Accountability - Organization accountable to its members and stakeholders.
